Gems

A GEM is the main proof of a user’s activity within a specific project on QuestMe. It captures real progress: completed tasks, verified engagement, and (when required) onchain actions.

A GEM functions as a collectible badge that confirms meaningful participation — not passive clicks.

Why GEMs matter

  • unlock access to future campaigns and exclusive events (project‑dependent)

  • may be included in airdrop eligibility and allocation rules (project‑dependent)

  • add +500 XP to the user profile

  • unlock special quests and bonus opportunities

  • serve as a verification layer for authentic contribution

  • enable gating: projects can restrict rewards, content, or quests to GEM holders

  • support cross‑campaign progression: collecting GEMs across projects increases eligibility for future perks

Core properties

  • project‑specific: each GEM belongs to one project

  • earned, not purchased: users must complete requirements

  • SBT format: issued as a soulbound token (non‑transferable)

  • visible identity signal: displayed on user profiles and dashboards

How users earn a GEM

1

Complete a project campaign on QuestMe

Users must finish the campaign associated with the project.

2

Meet all quest requirements

All quest requirements — including verification checks — must be satisfied.

3

Unlock the option to mint

After requirements are met, users unlock the option to mint the GEM to a wallet.

4

GEM appears on profile

The GEM appears on the user profile and dashboard as a permanent achievement.

Why projects should use GEMs

  • motivates participation through collection mechanics

  • improves retention by creating long‑term value beyond a single campaign

  • provides onchain visibility of engagement and progress

  • strengthens brand presence via unique GEM design per project

  • enables targeted incentives: rewards, bonuses, and gated content for verified contributors
